Exciting new course locations - social enterprise - local partnerships
In December 2006 a team from Red Rock International spent two weeks in Egypt to run courses for BP and develop products in the Sinai desert. In addition potential clients were contacted from the oil and gas market, partnerships were investigated to enable wider working in the Middle East and courses were run for various social enterprise groups.
BP Courses

The 'Emerging Leaders' course is a leadership training programme for national employees. Red Rock facilitated part of the fourth module through two exercises. One of these exercises, an 'Adventure Race' type event, was delivered in the beautiful and desert like Wadi Dighla, a dried up river bed on the outskirts of Cairo (see photo gallery).
A second course for BP's commercial team was run in the Mena House hotel gardens with the Pyramids a few hundred metres away. First time we've run a course next to one of the Seven Wonders of the world.
Sinai Desert Trip
We were very excited to explore the wild deserts and high mountains of the Sinai Peninsula as potential venues for courses. Red Rock could provide bespoke one or two-night events combining Bedouin hospitality, desert wilderness and the best or our training in vision, leadership and relationship development. These will make unique and unforgettable development experiences (see photo gallery)
Partners and Social Enterprise
A variety of courses were run for NGO type groups and social enterprise projects. Probably the most rewarding of these was training a football team from an orphanage. Very enthusiastic lads from very difficult backgrounds.
Red Rock identified an exciting partner to work with in the Middle East. We are starting to look at training options for the company's staff to enable a greater capacity for course delivery.
