At the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, the 89th Oscars were held in February, the world's most important event in the media.

A month later, many people were surprised by the fact that Mahmoud El Taweel won the Academy Award for best filming, to receive congratulations in the highest measure and give credit to his incredible work. However, reaching this point came as a result of a series of events, described by Al Masry Light.

Mahmoud El Taweel has many hobbies such as singing, playing musical instruments and acting. Starting from his studies at the Faculty of Foreign Trade at Helwan University, he began to discover his talents further. He joined the theater with his artistic colleague Amir Salah Al-Din, and joined the choir to learn singing and music.

After graduated from the Faculty of Foreign Trade in 2007, he devoted his attention in his field of work until he joined one of the major real estate companies, and continued until 2012, and thought of the need to “have the space to do what he truly likes,” and decided to return to pursue his hobbies again.

Difficult conversations — whether you’re telling a client the project is delayed or presiding over an unenthusiastic performance review — are an inevitable part of management. How should you prepare for this kind of discussion? How do you find the right words in the moment? And, how can you manage the exchange so that it goes as smoothly as possible?

If you want to be an expert communicator, you need to be effective at all points in the communication process – from "sender" through to "receiver" – and you must be comfortable with the different channels of communication – face to face, voice to voice, written, and so on. Poor communicators usually struggle to develop their careers beyond a certain point

When we first hear the word “Mentoring”, we usually get one of two impressions.

First, the classroom teacher that you used to hate when you were in high school. Second, your sports coach that used to run next to you and then yell, “Run, run, run!”

In these few coming minutes, I would ask you to drop your presumptions for a moment. I would like you to close your eyes and think about someone who had an impact on your life. Someone who spent hours with you discussing some minute details in your life. Someone that you can call in the middle of the night when you need a second opinion.

Now, that’s a real mentor!

“I can start changing myself for the better and others will follow too.”

This was one of the outcomes that participants came out with from the Yalla Bina 2015 Training Program organized by Ahram Beverages Co. (ABC) for a selection of their employees.

This program wasn't like any other ordinary Journey we have ever planned and executed for our clients...

Can you imagine a national football team entering the World Cup with a squad which has never played together? Of course not; everyone understands that a team needs to practise together to be competitive.

Why is it then that in business, situations like this seem to be commonplace? At Red Rock International we can readily identify three ways in which businesses can improve performance by applying common-sense principles to develop their teams and leaders.

TRIPLE THREAT
On Thursday, the 14th of May, our Egypt team had their hands full with not just one, but two team building courses, in addition to a classroom training program launch, that were all very diverse.

Not only were all the activities different, with different objectives and for a range of participants, but they were also different in location. We delivered these three events for around 130 participants, in three different cities – in two different countries!

“ We would like to thank you for the enjoyable, fun, and engaging activity. The team feedback was excellent. They enjoyed working on building the cars and the race. Your coordination and facilitation was excellent, as well as the facilitation of the debrief discussion, this was very insightful. ”
